2. My current obsession with skincare, which I hold nobody responsible for by the way. Well, I guess I am responsible because I've finally accepted that clear skin equals healthy, nourished skin. You get the idea.. I am at long last realising the importance of a decent skincare regime & in turn being inspired by all the ways I can improve my skin's condition & appearance.

3. If you're just as inspired as I am by skincare products then you need to watch Anna's (Vivianna Does Makeup) video of her Winter Skincare Routine. She features a wide range of products like oils, intensive masks, serums & more. There's some seriously good recommendations & products worth having a look at so you should watch it.

4. The fact that this week was a three day work/study week & that next week will be the same. Short weeks are the best, especially at this time of year when they're like a nice little pre-holiday of sorts before the eagerly anticipated mid-semester break.

Well March, for lack of a better word you have been marvelous. There's been plenty of positive moments & little things that I've been extremely grateful for. It's those moments that really make it a lot easier to not take as much notice of the bad. ♥

March has almost vanished from us in the blink of an eye it seems. It amazes me that I am now a third of the way through another semester at University, seriously it goes so quickly. This month I've been mixing up my makeup bag, trying out samples and playing with some products I've received over the last few months. Many of these I want to repurchase once they've run out because I think they're brilliant.

1. "You've got to remember to always be kind to yourself." -From an email I received this week.

2. After tomorrow I go on holiday again in one month's time! I can already tell you I am eagerly anticipating those sleep ins now.

3. Wearing sparkly things to brighten grey days. Yesterday I wore a tulle skirt, sparkly jewellery, this lace top & sparkly gold loafers. I do love glitter!

4. Bobbi Brown lip gloss! I can't find the colour I have online so maybe it was a limited edition one. I won this gloss in a prize pack from #nzgirlbloggers club & it is so good. The gloss isn't tacky at all & it lasts pretty fantastically. I'm going to talk more about this in a post next week but in the meantime you can browse the colour range & finishes here.

Lately I've been trying to improve my skincare, because, in truth, my current skincare regime is pretty appalling & my skin suffers as a result! One of the easiest ways you can improve the condition & appearance of your skin is by giving it some TLC at nighttime. We all love a bit of pampering & this night cream by La'Bonic is becoming a firm favourite in my nighttime pampering routine.

Auckland has certainly been a hive of fashionable activity of late, and it doesn't look set to cease anytime soon! This Saturday, Newmarket's annual Catwalk on the Street event is taking place.

During Catwalk on the Street, Osborne Street is completely closed off to traffic & models strut their stuff wearing the latest winter trends. This year there's even the Next Face of Newmarket models taking part in the shows, hoping to win the approval of judges Denise L'Estrange-Corbet of WORLD, Amanda Bransgrove from Monarch Model Management, Gemma Young of Cleo & more!!

Morning all! I hope you've had fabulous weekends, I did a spot of successful shopping and just made the most of catching up on rest. Today though I am going to share with you two of my favourite low-end beauty buys of late. 1. Reaching 300 posts. It's not quite as colossal as 500 but it feels like an achievement nonetheless!

3. Zoe & Louise filmed a video with Vivianna Does Makeup recently & Anna shared some of her favourite new beauty discoveries of late. You can see the video here & if you love beauty+finding new products then I suggest you watch it. I love those Illamasqua Nail Polishes in particular, so beautiful! You should also have a look at Anna's blog too because she writes fantastic reviews, the best I've seen so far.

1. My blog layout which Britney helped me put together last Friday. It is exactly what I wanted & I love how much cleaner it looks & the overall design. End humble brag.

2. Mail of both the digital & paper kind that isn't a bill is always going to make my day. Always. This week I got a couple of very special emails to say the least. More on that next week, hopefully.

3. This article of 19 things to stop doing in your twenties. #7 is always applicable I think. Sadly some people in high school who weren't good then don't exactly change post high school. In saying that, post high school you realize some people were or weren't who you thought they were & vice versa.

4. Show Orchid lipstick by MAC is my favourite lip colour at the moment. It's quite possibly the most gorgeous pink lipstick, ever! See it for yourselves here.

Mac have really been on their game this month with the release of the Archie's Girls collection earlier this week & then these gorgeous products in the weeks to follow.
