The Week #97

The Week in Instagrams @nanawintour: *Mamma Mia last Friday was an awesome time. Read my thoughts here. *Bonjour French Pharmacy treats-post coming soon. *This card from Kikki K sums things up nicely. *I watched the final episode of Gossip Girl on the weekend. Three words, eight letters. 'Nuff said.. *Stormy weather calls for magazines and movies. *The Mac Eyeshadow Palette.

Must-Watch of the Week: It was tricky to pick just one video this week, so there's two and then a series. First up we have this couple lip-synching to one of the songs from Frozen. Brilliant. Zoe and Tanya collaborative videos are often good, and this girly sleepover looked like a lot of fun! I wanted to dance around the house singing musical theatre songs after watching this. Maybe that can be tonight's task. Finally I've been addicted to Beauty Bootcamp over on Daily Mix's channel. If only it ran longer than a week.

Product of the Week: There was no competition this week, my Mac Eyeshadow Palette wins. Surprisingly I've not used All That Glitters once! Standout shades this week include Sable, Handwritten and Nylon. It lives on my dresser so it's easy to see the colours and go from there. I'll definitely be making use of the other colours more now they're so much easier to access.

Must-Read of the Week: Beauty in the Bag from Net A Porter's online magazine. This feature looked at the staple beauty products of Alexa Chung, Cate Blanchett and Miranda Kerr. It was beautifully laid out and I was pleased to see Alexa is a fan of Lady Danger lipstick too.

Added to the Wishlist: Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Voluptes, I've got my eye on #203 and #202. My love for YSL's Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks has been well documented and now there's a gloss addition to the lineup. I'm all ears! According to the beauty blogs I've read these are great, although the shimmers are much sheerer than the opaque glosses. They have a unique applicator as well and if they're anything like YSL's other lip products, they're bound to be deliciously scented.

*Happy Friday everyone! As you read this I'll be en route to get rid of submit a somewhat ghastly assignment. I'm looking forward to the weekend though-long walks in the sun, movies, sleep ins and of course a little bit of work. Blissful. x
