A Mini Mac Haul

We all know I love a little Mac excursion. The results usually leave me with an arm covered in eyeshadow swatches, a new wishlist saved in the notes section of my phone and sometimes the odd black paper bag in hand. Y'know the one. Recently I've picked up a few new Mac bits and pieces. They've really been on top of their limited edition game so Maleficent and Alluring Aquatic were on my radar from the get go. Some of these products may be sold out in stores or online now but give your local Mac store a ring or check their websites just to be certain.

Maleficent Pro Longwear Lipglass in Anthurium, limited edition-The Maleficent collection was a lot smaller than I expected it to be and it wasn't as readily available in NZ, so the gorgeous lipstick from this range sold out super fast. I'm glad I didn't get it though, because this lipglass is awesome. I was expecting it to be quite sticky on the lips but it was the total opposite. This bright red lipglass was apparently Angelina's red lip of choice during filming and I can see why. It is super pigmented and is such a gorgeous red for cooler skintones. If you want to ease yourself into red lips then Anthurium would be a good place to start.

Alluring Aquatic Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in Lorelei, limited edition-If you're a regular NW reader you will have heard me rave about the Extra Dimension collections before. The eyeshadows in particular are always stunning. While I didn't think I could pull off one of the green or silver-toned shades from this collection, I knew this golden beige shadow would be right up my street. Now I haven't actually worn this one yet but if it's anything like the other extra dimension shades it'll be sheeny, neutral shadow goodness.

Cremesheen Lipstick in Peach Blossom-I bet some of you will have thought that lipstick was Patisserie, given it seems to appear on the blog quite a bit. Peach Blossom however errs more on the pink side of things. It definitely is a 'your lips but better' shade so it looks incredibly natural on the lips. This one is a must on those days when you have a handful of minutes to get out the door. That's all there is to it really.

*Have you tried any of these Mac products?

  1. The Peach Blossom lipstick looks gorgeous! I think when I was feeling a bit more spendy, I had that colour in mind for purchasing but of course I couldn't really justify buying it when I knew I had to save my money.

    Maleficent one looks amazing <3
