June Beauty Bag

There's no denying it, Winter is well and truly here. It brings with it the need for hot drinks, cosy scarves and a seasonal change to the beauty palette. This month is all about the cream products and with this edit shimmer, colour and long-wearing formulas are all taken care of.

Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Eclair Cream shadows are great if you want long-lasting lid colour. The Pro Longwear formulas stick around and with a good primer last well without creasing. No brush work is required here, just a dab of this blended across the lid and you are set. Let's Skate from Mac and Epatant by Chanel are also on high lid rotation.

Stila Convertible Colour in Gerbera These multitasking lip and cheek products are great cream blushes. They are easy to blend with either a stippling brush or your fingers too and are quite long lasting for a cream blush. They are quite pigmented with no shimmer and don't go patchy on the cheeks like some other cream blushes do.

Figs & Rouge Lemon Berry Tinted Lip Balm This lip balm contains all natural ingredients and is petroleum free. This balm leaves the lips with a subtle berry tinge and you can reapply this without your lips still feeling dry afterwards. Emma Watson is said to be a fan of Figs & Rouge and it is easy to see why. It does exactly what it says on the tin, which is one very gorgeous package by the way. This is one of the nicest lip balms I have used in a long time.

Benefit High Beam The pearly pink highlighter that looks lovely as both a brow and cheekbone highlight. Once blended out with your fingers you are a left with a glow that has a hint of shimmer to it but isn't overly glittery. Pair it with a matte bronzer and pretend it's still Summer.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 05 Candy Shimmer This was a Vivianna Does Makeup inspired purchase admittedly and it is becoming my go-to product on lipstick free days. This pink-nude gloss applies really smoothly. You won't find this tacky or be left swiping stray hairs away from sticky lips. These glosses are deliciously scented too, what more could you want?
