Must-Watch of the Week: Marilyn Monroe had such a simple yet iconic makeup look. Shimmery pearl-white eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, defined lashes and of course a bold red lip. This week I was watching some videos on Tanya Burr's channel when I stumbled upon this Marilyn Monroe tutorial. Aside from the winged eyeliner this looks relatively easy to recreate. Give it a go this weekend.

Product of the Week: Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette has been getting a lot of love this week. I use shades like Foxy and Bootycall most days but the others sometimes get abandoned. I've been pairing Chopper and Half Baked with my Mac Eclair Paint Pot and the effect is really lovely. Shimmery eyeshadows just seem to go so well with cream eyeshadows as a base.

Added to the Wishlist: After thinking about tomorrow's post I realised how much I love the Real Techniques brushes. They're extremely soft, are a dream to apply product with and also dry quite quickly for such dense brushes. The Core Collection set takes care of base application, precise contouring and more. I'd say this kit would be worth it just for the buffing brush alone which everybody seems to love.
