Alexa Chung for Eyeko

When two of my favourite things, Makeup and Alexa Chung join forces you can guarantee that I am bound to be excited, like a child on Christmas morning. Over Christmas Beauty Bay had this on sale and it just happened to fall into my cart. Happy late Christmas to me. Before I get started on the review I have to mention that this kit was so beautifully packaged and presented. Once opened, a layer of eye-covered tissue paper appeared. Inside were the products of course, but there is also a poster and a guitar pick adorned with Alexa's writing and illustrations. This set is limited edition so if you're after one then get online or in store today to snag yourself this beauty (#seewhatididthere).

Eye Do Mascara I've been using this mascara religiously the past week and love it. The wand is the perfect size and shape for coating each individual lash. Alexa is right when she says this mascara stays on forever. While it is not waterproof, it does not smudge and is easily removed with a decent eye makeup remover. I also love that it contains a lot of natural ingredients to condition and promote natural lash growth. This may well be my new favourite luxe mascara.

Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner Whenever I watch YouTube videos I marvel at the beauty gurus who apply winged eyeliner like it's the easiest thing ever. Well if you're a bit clumsy with the liner like me then this pen may well be your solution. Its fine tip means you can line your eyes with a thin line or build it up to create a more dramatic look. This again is pretty long-wearing and you aren't left having to wait for it to dry. While I am not claiming to have suddenly become a master of liquid liner, this pen is certainly making the job of learning the ins and outs a whole lot easier.

If you're an Alexa fan or just looking for a cute gift for a friend's birthday, this set is bound to go down a treat. You can pick it up online here from Beauty Bay, psst-it's currently on sale.

*Have you tried any Eyeko products? Which did you love?

    1. I really like the wand, it never seems to pick up too much product which is perfect. You'll have to let me know if you try this kit out. x

  3. These products sound amazing! I love Alexa Chung and I also have shaky hands which do not help for winged eyeliner. If only I didn't need to save money for uni!

    1. They're fabulous. Eyeko also sell a liner separately which looks quite similar to the one included in this kit. x

  4. Loved reading this! I've only ever tried one felt tip style eyeliner, and I actually got on so much better with a bush style tip. Everyone seems to say that felt tips are the best though, so I might try some more! Love the packaging of these, lovely review x

    1. Thanks Ruby! I've never tried one with a brush style tip. Sam from Pixiwoo often uses the Real Techniques Fine Liner brush with liquid liner, she just dabs it onto the brush and goes from there. I have tried that before with a Rimmel liner that had an oddly shaped tip and found it made it much easier to apply.
