What I Love Weekly #37
1. "You were like a flower child obsessed with butterflies-you had this really funny handwriting & drew insects on everything. You had a very beautiful spirit." That quote is from a book I read in the past two days & fell in love with. The book itself is this one, look out for it in a post early next month!2. Sun tans obtained by spending time in the sun & not getting burnt..wearing sun block of course! It's nice not having as porcelain a complexion for once. Basically spending time in the sun is brilliant.
3. Summer School is over!! Today I will be done with classes & in 11 days I'll be done with revision & exams. I can't wait to have holiday time back.
4. Exciting editorials. Which fashionista doesn't like a fantastic, inspiring, impeccably styled photoshoot? The February issue of British Vogue contains some of the most stunning editorials I have seen in a while, like this one styled using looks from various designers shot in an English manor. The image below is one of my favourites from the spread.
Cara & Edie wearing Dolce & Gabbana.
5. Karen Walker's enamel bangles are gorgeous! I picked up the navy one last week & it features many of the popular symbols from her filigree range in its design. They may be sold out again, the stock sold out prior to Christmas but you can see them here.
6. Some lovely blog posts you should see; Maria's stripes & tulle outfit post & her storage & decorating ideas, Amanda's outfit post in Cornwall Park & Aych's series of glittery photographs.
7. Being featured on this list of New Zealand fashion bloggers this week was a fabulous surprise & honour. There are loads of other brilliant blogs on there too, I'm in good company! Thank you so much Megan.
8. "That is a good book which is opened with expectation & closed with pleasure" -Unknown. How I feel about the majority of my Summer holiday reading thus far, long may it last!!
9. Blogging developments in the form of plenty of exciting emails!! There is a lot to look forward to & I can't wait to tell you more all about that soon.
-I hope you have all had absolutely fabulous weeks! I hope your weekend is just as amazing. I will be revising in the sun, reading lots & lots & maybe even catching up on some of Gossip Girl S4, yes, that is how far behind I am!! See you all in Monday's post xo.

I have not started Gossip Girl yet - that was meant to be my summer plan but it just hasn't happened yet! My boyfriend wants to watch it too, so I have to wait for a time when we are both free!
ReplyDeleteHurray for exciting developments, can't wait to see what the future brings x
Gossip Girl is so good!! Aside from the fashion it consistently has drama & decent storylines. I am of course ever so slightly biased. I have S1-4 on DVD if you want to borrow them Meagan. Just let me know :).
DeleteSo much blogging excitement right now. Go us, & Hannah if you're reading this.
