The Extras: Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation

I have been on the search for a great foundation for a while. Many a sample from beauty counters has been carted home but none have been quite right. Then I met Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation..*



Hello Flawless is Benefit's foundation that has its own hydrating complex which works to leave you with a flawless, radiant complexion. It contains SPF 25 and is oil free so you are left with healthy, luminous skin without the greasy sheen. This foundation is quite light and gives buildable coverage. Denser brushes like the Expert Face brush by Real Techniques and the Flat Top synthetic brush by xo Beauty are great for working this foundation in. It is easy to blend, it doesn't apply streakily and you are left with a flawless finish. 




I have the shade Petal and find this a great match for my skin tone at the moment. This foundation looks really lovely on, it's not extremely matte or dewy so it leaves your skin looking perfect and natural. As it is oil free I think it sits better on the skin than some heavier foundations and because of that it doesn't seem to be affecting my skin in any way. I really like this foundation and think it would be great for Summer as it is quite light on the skin.

    Thank you for posting this review! I'm definitely looking into this foundation next time I mosey on down to my local Ulta (which is a 45 minute drive, sometimes more depending on traffic). I've heard so many people rave about it and it sounds like the perfect foundation. As for right now? I've just been wearing a little of MAC Studio Fix concealer (which I adore) and powder, a perfect combination for summer.

      You're welcome! I hope it was helpful for you. My local Benefit stockist is about the same distance away for me too. Actually all the higher end makeup brands are, that's probably a very good thing ;).

      Definitely check it out Ellen, it's pretty good! It's not as expensive as some of the other high end foundations too. Bonus. x
