The Week #105

The Week in Instagrams @nanawintour: *Photobooth fun at the Benefit launch on Tuesday. It was so lovely to meet Kirsty from Makeup Obsessives too. *Five Product Face: The Update. *I set up my YouTube channel over the weekend, it's not looking overly pristine right now-bear with me. Anyway, an email appeared in my inbox announcing that this lovely lady had followed me and yeah, excitement ensued. There may have even been a Snapchat reaction... *Dior wins the award for cutest+best sample ever. *Monday was a GMD (good mail day). *The new campaign image for Benefit's They're Real Push Up Liner, out next month. It's early days but given I'm an eyeliner noob this is surprisingly less tricky to use. More on that later..

Must Watch of the Week: I feel like I'm a bit too excited for The Fault In Our Stars movie release next month, but it seems like a lot of people are. The folks behind the movie obviously know this too and released the video for All Of The Stars, Ed Sheeran's song for the film. All Of The Stars? More like all of the feels. Beautiful song, go give it a listen.

Product of the Week: There isn't a product love this week. Actually that's not entirely true, there was, but given I have only used it once it doesn't feel right to mention it just yet. There'll be more to report next week as some orders have arrived in the post (shh) and I've been trialling out some new products. Stay tuned..

Must Read of the Week: Lily of Llymlrs shared this post about ways we bloggers can show a 'lil love for each other and spread the kindness online, and perhaps offline if you're that way inclined. I try to do most of the things on this list but I will admit that commenting is one thing that does get neglected by moi. If you're a fan of American Vogue and Grace Coddington's work then you'll enjoy an article published recently looking at her home and finding out what makes her tick. It makes me want a wall of framed fashion photographs so badly. Thanks for sharing this Angie!

Added to the Wishlist: Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay Candle, limited edition, sold out in New Zealand *sad face*-Yes, I am lusting after something that has now vanished from our shelves but some of my family are headed to Australia soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it may still be around when they are there. Not only is it stunningly packaged but the scent is divine. It has a nostalgic charm to it which I love.

*Another week gone! My week's been an odd blend of stressfulness (kinda) but then I had some entertaining hours at University this week-a combination of good conversations and also watching The September Issue. Today I'm having a day off which is lurvely and this weekend is just a mix of assignments, blogging and more fun crammed in between. All my assignments at the moment are very close together and I have things due right up until we go on study leave. It's a bit chaotic but oh well. Have a fabulous weekend and check back here tomorrow for a sneaky bonus post! xx

  3. Ah the Lily Melrose post is lovely! I haven't read the TFIOS book, but I've seen all the hype about the movie so I'm kind of excited for that too :)

    1. It really is! You need to read TFIOS-it's such a beautiful yet heart wrenchingly sad story. I love it though. x
