The Week #106
The Week in Instagrams @nanawintour: *I shot some blog photos over the weekend. This is just a 'lil snippet behind the scenes from a post coming up in June. Note the blutack, an essential. *Another GMD happened and this time in the form of a Cult Beauty delivery. This arrived crazy fast and I was super impressed with the service. *A little introductory Blogcademy letter as I am headed off to the Auckland classes in December! I can't wait. *I've found some new loves this week; First up we have the Blueberry Scrub-Gelee from The Body Shop and then there's a lovely little alternative to the Buffing Brush which you'll find on Sephora's shelves.
Must-Watch of the Week: Suzie's Evening Essentials video. I'm really loving Suzie's channel at the moment and this video is so beautifully filmed. I'm always interested to see what skincare products other people use at night too so this video went down a treat. Something else that goes down a treat are Estée's vlogs. Again, I am a bit late to the party but these are awesome and Estee's so entertaining. You can't not love her videos.
Product of the Week: Real Techniques Blush Brush- I've been neglecting this brush a bit lately. In Summer I was pairing it with Radiant Light from this palette but since my skin is no longer bronzed* it has sat unloved. Lately though I've been using this with blushers again and I love it! It picks up the perfect amount of colour so you won't ever look overly flushed, and it blends like a dream.
Must-Read of the Week: If you ever find yourself in Auckland then Isaac's list of things to do will come in handy. It covers all of the good stuff, from food hotspots to fashion highlights. Mexico is one of my favourite places to go for lunch and even though I've only visited The Department Store once it is one radtastic store which you must visit.
Added to the Wishlist: Lusting after something three months in advance seems a bit crazy, but the new Sharon and Kelly Osbourne Mac collection is just so stunning. It'd be rude not to talk about it now. Anyway, this blush is taking my fancy at the moment. Peachy, neutral pink perfection. That lipstick looks pretty dreamy too.
-I'll resist inserting lyrics from a certain viral video about Fridays here, but TGIF! This week's been awesome; pre-Blogcademy excitement, a car and hanging with Britney+Caitlin, but it's also been not so exciting at times so I'm looking forward to the weekend. I'll be blogging, vlogging (maybe), enjoying a lunch with Hannah and the usual bits & bobs. Have a fabulous weekend everyone! x
