What I Love Weekly #15

1. Watching the Olympics! The other day I saw some of the show-jumping during class & last night I watched the rowing. We won GOLD by the way, go the Kiwis! I am in no way an avid sport watcher but there's something about the Olympics that I love. I can't really explain it.

2. This week is birthday week & in fact today is my birthday. I share my birthday with Karlie Kloss! Yes, that rather amazing Supermodel. Happy Birthday Karlie.

3. Britney blogged about our Saturday adventure seeing us venture around the city. She wrote the nicest things about our day. There's photos from 4 different cameras on there too because we like taking a ridiculous amount of photos. Go & have a nosy.

How beautiful are my birthday nails?? Read on to find out more about them.

4. This week I visited Leah for some new nails. For once I knew exactly what I wanted (it usually takes me forever to decide). These nails were inspired by a pair of Sass & Bide shorts I love & of course my love of glitter. I'm very lucky that I have brand new Colour Gloss shades on my nails too. They're from the Summer in St Tropez collection & feature; Haute Cout-Orange, Your Yacht Or Mine? & Bon Appe-Teal. Thank you so much Leah! I love my new nails xx.

5. New week, new goals. This week I've decided before the year is out I will go to cake decorating classes. I love making cakes but I am rubbish at icing them. It'll come in handy if I ever do open the patisserie of my daydreams.

6. This video featuring Fleur De Force & Tanya Burr showcasing their Top 5 London shopping destinations. This makes me want to race back to London right now. The West End & galleries are of course also beckoning.

7. "The conscience brain can only hold one thought at a time. Choose a positive one." -Spotted on the pavements of Auckland.

8. This Tumblr. Someone's gone & made Here's What You Missed posts from the first 4 Harry Potter movies. Screen caps are captioned & it is hilarious reading. Just don't open it during a quiet lecture theatre, as I did. Cue unnecessarily loud laughter.

9. "Do one thing a day that scares you". I love this philosophy & this week I made it makeup related. I always get shy about wearing eyeshadows & lipsticks to Uni so I did just that. It was far less scary than anticipated. Yay!

10. Chocolate Mint Cookies from Mrs Higgins. So delicious, yet so so bad.

11. Eddy Monsoon from Absolutely Fabulous. If you don't know what I'm talking about you need to visit Google immediately & then YouTube & then maybe a DVD store. That's all.
