The Sales Edit

Christmas is now over and if you're in the Southern Hemisphere no doubt some of you will be off right now spending gift vouchers or money in the Boxing Day Sales. I'm sure the fairies behind some of our favourite beauty sites are aware of all this too because a few days before Christmas their sales emails started appearing in my inbox. Well, they've certainly collated some fabulous beauty things in their sales. I've gathered a little edit of some of the best bargains. The best part is you don't even need to leave your house to purchase them. Whether you're looking to treat yourself, or get a head start on gifts for next year, you are bound to find something you're tempted by.

Eyeko 'Alexa Chung' Set-This cutely packaged kit contains an eyeliner and mascara that both have Alexa's artwork and approval behind them. I added this set to my cart and hastily left the tempting Beauty Bay realm, 'nuff said.

Too Faced 'All I Want For Christmas' Set-This is such an adorable set. I love the case it is all packaged up in. You get everything you need, sans base for a makeup look in this set. If you're looking to try out Too Faced then you should pick this up because there's a well thought out selection of products to try in there.

Diptyque Philosykos Eau De Toilette-A fresh, fig scent that is uplifting and not potent in the slightest. Now that I have the Figuier candle as well this scent reminds me a lot of the fragrance of fresh Christmas trees so it's like owning Christmas in a bottle all year. Who wouldn't want that?

Essie Winter Collection-Festive glittery reds, navy blues and cashmere greys. Love. You cannot fault Essie polishes. They're long-wearing, easy to apply and they have a fantastic colour range.

Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Body Quartet-Gift sets like this one from Laura Mercier are a great way to try out products before investing in the full sized versions. This Ambre Vanilla quartet will have you set for many a cosy pamper evening during the Winter season.

Rimmel Glam Eyes HD 5 Colour Eyeshadow-I love the colour combinations in this brown-hued palette, especially that shade in the very centre. Feel Unique have lots of Rimmel products on sale so be sure to check out their selection if you're a fan.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm-This cleansing balm is a favourite among beauty bloggers around the world and now it's on sale! If you're wanting to pick this up then you should.

Real Techniques 'Sam's Picks' Set-My love for Real Techniques is well-documented and I've even raved on about this set already. This is perfect for anyone from the girl who's just getting into makeup to the beauty fan who loves having lots of brushes to work with. Even if you own a couple of the brushes in this set already it is worth the splurge.

*So that's my pick of the beauty sales! I'm looking forward to trying out the Eyeko set. Let me know what bargains you scored in the boxing day sales below. I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas!

  1. I was wondering whether you could post the best places to get these items from. I know you could get real techniques from life pharmacy but the stores in my city are sold out. Thanks xx

    1. Hi Holly. Thanks for your comment, in all honesty the best place to pick up these items is online really but here's where you can buy things in New Zealand:

      Diptyque: Mecca Cosmetica.
Essie: Some Farmers stores. I think Life Pharmacy have Essie too and possibly some other chemists.
Real Techniques: Life Pharmacy although to be honest the best place to pick these up is iHerb. Fast delivery+best pricing.

Everything else from this post is available at those websites I've linked. Hope this helps!
