What I Love Weekly #22

1. "Tumblr is for gathering photos of the self you'll be when you grow up. Pinterest is for gathering photos of the self you'll be when you get the money." -This was included in one of Gala Darling's post last week & it made me laugh because it is so true! One look at anyone's Pinterest & you can get a clear idea of what they want their mansion to look like.

2. The party of the century. Last weekend I went to a Harry Potter themed party with some friends of mine from the Twitterverse. As we were the big kids there it was a lot of fun & we all laughed so much + had an extreme sugar high. Thanks Wendy for inviting us & putting on an amazing party! You did an incredible job.

3. Rose fragranced beauty products are becoming popular in my life right now, thanks to MOR Cosmetics. Their Marshmallow perfume oil has been on high rotation this week. I'm also loving L'Occitane's Rose 4 Reines Eau De Toilette & Lush's Rose Jam Bubbleroons, inspired by Macarons.

4. The goodie bag from last night's YSL & Fashion Quarterly event. Some highlights include; A Touche Eclat Pen in Shade 2, a voucher for a complimentary consultation + another free gift, shower gel, FQ's Occasions magazine & more.

The YSL bounty in question.

5. Do you like Fashion & live in Auckland? It's just a couple of months until AUT's ROOKIE Fashion Show. I've never been but always regret not going after seeing the photos later on. Join the event here.

6. While we're on the subject of Fashion & AUT, have a look at the work of one of the Fashion Student's here. I love Joshua Fache's designs & what he wants to achieve in the Fashion Industry.

7. The new Milk & Cookie bar on Queen St is seriously cute! It's called Moustache & as well as having a gorgeous space, their cookies are pretty darn cute as well. Try the Oreo & Marshmallow ones, they're rather scrumptious.

8. Cremesheen lipsticks by MAC. I don't know what is in them but they are seriously hydrating lipsticks with impeccable staying power. When they start to fade off they become more of a stain on the lips as well. They're an absolute staple in any makeup bag.

9. Gladiator sandals are already starting to make their way into the shops! I found some really affordable ones this week too so I may just have to go & get them, I think.

10. So I'm a bit obsessed with Peter Alexander sleepwear & had a bit of a hard time choosing a new pair this week. Mainly because their new Disney range has just dropped, it isn't even on the site yet! Anyway, there is the most gorgeous Alice in Wonderland print in that collection with a floral background. You all should see it. I'll try to find a photo when one's available.
