Monday Muse
This Brit leader of the pack has been taking the fashion world by storm as of late. Look how quickly her covetable Madewell pieces sold out. Did you also know she has modeled, been a television presenter and contributing editor for British Vogue? It's easy to see why the world has fallen under Alexa Chung's spell.
Jane Keltner de Valle writes; Alexa knows exactly what to wear everywhere. For fashion parties: girlish mini dresses with flats and undone hair. For red carpet galas: a tuxedo and a red lip. For walking down the street: a silk button-down and a cross-body Chanel bag. Her effortlessly cool and just-unexpected way of putting clothes together has made her a muse to designers and peers alike. She's a fashion pied piper...
Alexa currently presents 24 Hour Catwalk for the Lifetime Channel in the US and has appeared on numerous other shows. What I admire her most for though is her approach to fashion. Despite confessing to reaching through piles of clothes to find her outfits for the day, Alexa always looks polished. Her schoolgirl style is popular among fashion circles along with her appreciation of timeless pieces as opposed to trends which are barely around for a season.
